  • Location. Is the Beauty School in a good, safe location? Does it have up to date facilities?
  • Classes offered. What classes are offered? Do these classes fit in line with your career goals?
  • Guest artists. Do they have guest artists, or other Beauty professionals that visit the school to train, instruct and help you learn the skills you need to succeed?
  • Environment. Do you feel comfortable when you walk in? Are the instructors knowledgeable? How much experience do they have?
  • How many hours are spent on the floor and how many are spent in the classroom?
  • Are you getting your money’s worth?
  • How much is a kit?
  • Do they offer payment plans?
  • How often will you have to take tests?
  • Do they offer classes to prepare for state board exams?
  • Is there favoritism? Does each student get an equal opportunities to practice on clients?
  • Do they guarantee job placement after graduation?
  • What if you need to take time off? Do they allow leave of absences?
  • Hours. Do they offer part time and full time schedules? What are their hours?
